HOW WILL YOU BECOME AN ADVANCED DIVER?
You will initially learn about Advanced Diving techniques by studying a chapter of the accompanying manual per dive and answering some questions about the type of diving you will be doing. Your instructor will make sure you have understood every thing and then you are ready to go scuba diving! There are no exams. Deep and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dives form the core of the course, then you get to choose the other three types of diving you are interested in, for a total of five dives. The other skills you learn will depend on what you would like to focus on. You can fine tune your buoyancy control, learn how to identify the fish you see, go drift diving, explore wrecks or enjoy your first night dive! It's up to you...
During the Deep Adventure Dive down to 100ft you will:
- Learn how to plan deeper scuba dives safely.
- Find out how deal with the physiological effects.
- Become aware of deep dive safety considerations.
- How to use specialized diving equipment.
During your Under Water Navigation Adventure Dive you will:
- Refresh your underwater compass navigation skills.
- Swim navigation patterns using the compass.
- Measure distance using kick-cycles and dive time.
- Use visual landmarks and natural features to navigate.
