Discover Scuba Diving in Roatan

Want to try diving without committing to a full certification course? The Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience allows you to do exactly this! With a minimum age of 10 years old, this is the perfect opportunity to try diving and discover what lies beneath the waves.

The DSD only takes one day and consists of basic theory and a few introductory skills to make you feel comfortable under the water. Your instructor will fully brief you on everything you need to know in terms of your equipment, the dive itself and underwater signals to communicate with one another.

When you are ready, your instructor will take you on an underwater tour to a maximum depth of 12 mts/40ft. Here you will experience Roatan's notorious reef with all its marine life, with your own eyes. If you are one of the many divers who falls in love with the ocean, you have the option of an additional DSD dive, or better yet, you can count  your DSD towards the full Open Water Certification Course with Reef Gliders!
